. A different point of view.
Each member who wishes to, will bring in a photo, either as a print or PDI. The image has to have been taken locally. The date doesn’t matter, it can be an old photograph. Then members take a photo of their choice, the owner will tell you where the photo was taken. The person who choses the photo will go back to the same spot and retake the scene in a different way.
The difference could be
The season the image was taken. Day and night, Tide in tide out. If it’s of a building, the building might not be there any more or it might be derelict. Photo what you see from the same spot.
Use a creative technique, ICM, double exposure, infra red, long exposure. Make the scene recognisable butt different
Work on your own or as a team.

What is Monochrome Photography?
The definition of monochrome is an image displaying a single colour or different shades of a single color. Monochrome photography is photography in which the entire image is recorded and represented by differing amounts of light instead of different hues. Black and white photography is the most prominent example of monochrome photography, as it represents subjects in varying shades of neutral gray, but includes no other colors. In monochrome photography, tones of a single color are used to represent all the different colors within an image.
This stands in stark contrast to contemporary color photography in which the actual colors present in the subject are captured and represented in the photograph.
Because of this distinction, monochrome images are not true renditions of the world, but rather abstractions that represent different colors with different shades of the same color. Because of this, monochrome photography is most often used for artistic and aesthetic purposes.
Panning is a technique used to capture a sharp, moving subject against a blurred background.
How it works: You use a slow shutter speed and move your camera along with the speed of your subject.
The result: The main object stays in focus while the background streaks with motion blur, creating a strong feeling of speed.
Common uses: Photographing racing cars, running animals, or speeding cyclist
Light trails in photography are bright, glowing streaks of light created by moving light sources during a long exposure shot.

The Art of Blur. Rose Atkinson. In Hall Zoom meeting
The art of blur is a creative technique that uses intentional unsharpness, motion, or shallow depth of field to evoke emotion, movement, and mood rather than strict realism.

The Art of Macro. Tony North In Hall Zoom meeting
Macro photography is the art of capturing subjects at a 1:1 magnification ratio or greater, making tiny details appear life-sized or larger than life on your camera sensor. This genre reveals a hidden, highly detailed world that is normally invisible to the naked human eye.

Mastering macro photography requires a unique blend of technical precision and artistic composition, as tiny adjustments drastically alter the final image.

4 Seasons
The Seasons.
Photograph the same thing, probably a landscape or a tree in each of the four seasons.

-
Choose a dynamic location: Pick a spot with deciduous trees.
-
Incorporate water: Capture ice, reflections, and ripples.
-
Avoid temporary objects: Skip cars and benches.
-
Time the sun: Shoot at a different time of day/night
-
Watch the shadows: Angle changes with seasons.
Seasonal Focus Points
-
Spring: Focus on blooming buds and vibrant greens.
-
Summer: Capture harsh sunlight and deep shadows.
-
Autumn: Highlight golden hour tones and falling leaves.
-
Winter: Emphasise stark frost, snow, and bare branches.

Use different lenses, different focal points. Incorporate close up with blurred background. Long shutter speeds. ICM. B&W verses colour.

Each picture should stand out by its self as well as connection as part of a group of 4.

Each member will bring in four images to present and discus.
